Interesting play by two candidates to get publicity by suggesting they were patronized. When does Plerhoples explain what she had in mind when she suggested last year that RBG should resign? Or why she’s calling the county she aspires to lead “mediocre”? #notyetreadyforprimetime
Huh? I’m sure both candidates would have preferred to have fair interviews with the WaPo without questions that were designed to highlight the weaknesses the WaPo perceived about their gender. I think the only one not ready for prime time is the Washington Post editorial board.
Again, when is Plerhoples going to explain what she had in mind last year when she suggested RBG resign? And why does she call Fairfax “mediocre” and assert that Fairfax needs to be more like DC and Arlington? She is a political rookie who is not qualified to chair the BOS.
You seem to be confused about the topic of this thread which is that the Washington Post asked two female candidates very inappropriate questions related to their status as mothers. Whatever those candidates views may be, there's no justification for the Post to ask inappropriate questions, upon which, their endorsements were based.
Has anyone disagreed with that? This wouldn’t be the first thread on DCUM that has evolved. Obviously there are some marginally qualified female candidates trying to milk this incident for all it’s worth, and then some. It’s appropriate to point out that, even if the Post asked inappropriate questions, people shouldn’t allow their sympathy to lead them into voting for less qualified candidates.
