That inheritance is definitely your business if it means a ton of stuff in your present or future house. Since you live in that house, you get a vote on what goes in it. If you were going to inherit 30,000 pieces of fine china from your mom, your DH would have every right to raise questions about how and where you would store and display it in the house.[/quote]
