Dutch guy told him right to his face that he took dirty money at Cato and he takes dirty money at Fox. Carlson then proceeded to sputter, gasp, melt down and finally spew profanity in his frustration. Complete takedown.
I wish that Dutch guy could run for US president.
I dont. I don't agree with what the Dutch guy supports, but that was an awesome takedown on Carlson, and Carlson's response is typical of someone who can't defend himself so he resorts cursing at you.
No, it's typical of someone who's pissed off that the other person deliberately went "off script" from whatever had been the planned discussion for the segment, which Carlson and his producers had prepared with the Dutch guy. If you're a performer in a play and doing a scene with someone else who deliberately goes off-script and starts messing up the lines, with the specific purpose of making you look like a fool, then no you're not going to like that. No one who gets on these shows is permitted to say whatever they feel like nor are they permitted to sandbag the host. Every word might not have been pre-scripted but guaranteed there was a lot of preparation with this guy by one of Carlson's producers about how the segment was supposed to go. If you are a guest at someone else's home and start throwing monkey feces then you won't be welcome very much longer.
Bullshit. Tucker Carlson is constantly touted as being this very intelligent guy yet when calmly confronted with a few inconvenient (and very true) facts he completely melted down and became grotesquely unprofessional. Tucker Carlson only looks intelligent and composed when he has a well defined script and well constructed set of talking points to work from. In real life situations, however, he is a complete failure. It goes to show what a charade conservative media is. They never actually have any intelligent, well-informed liberals on their shows, and when a few slip in it's a disaster. There have been so many times where I have seen the same thing happen with Rush Limbaugh, Marc Levin and others, they are usually able to screen out anyone who actually has their facts together but occasionally one slips through, and invariably they have a meltdown, try shouting over the other person and cut them off as fast as possible. It's like an allergic reaction to reality.
