Less than 5% FARMs Tight nit neighborhood school with a great park next door recent renovation with great facilities smaller class sizes (At least in my kids grades) Amazing planetarium with unique curriculum strong enrichment tracts lots of affordable after school options and classes long tenured teachers engaged with the community Engaged PTA with lots events really everything we wanted, very happy here
What a jerk.
Not OP but I grow sick of the narrative that if you don’t surround yourself with poor kids you’re somehow a grandwizard. The people slinging the shade tend to be people who live in those areas but not by choice. They often think that they have too many poor people and the rich areas aren’t carrying their weight. The problem is that it treats poor people as a punishment and they forget they shouldn’t be surprised when they more to a poor area and they encounter poor people. Buying them to rich schools so that some other school would have a few less is a jerk move too. I can’t think of one situation where I was like; if only 30% -40% of people here were impoverished, that would be perfect. I get it, poor people need to live somewhere and send their kids to school. That is why the silver springs and Woodbridge’s of the world were setup. Those are perfectly lovely areas. Do the maids and landscapers have Human right to live in the Hamptons too? Being poor sucks, that is Capitalism’s way of encouraging you to be productive.
