Yes, at Gelarto Rosa near the Basilica!  We were in Budapest this summer and "ice cream every day" is one of our favorite memories.  Not to mention the foie gras, the amazing pastries, the breads, the Great Market Hall with all the incredible meats, produce, cheeses.  I especially miss the apricots and cherries - they had a flavor that you just can't match here in the U.S.[/quote]

Agree with this. In my opinion Budapest is a very underrated city for food. I enjoyed the food in Budapest way more than anything in Paris. Also, the ice cream as you mentioned is not only insanely delicious it's so cheap![/quote]

I am so happy that other people love Budapest as much as I do! Dobos cake is amazing — we stayed near Gerbeaud and had a ton of dobos cake sundaes. We also went to Gundel and had an amazing meal (including goulash!).[/quote]
