No one is suggesting that you shouldn't spend your money on cars if you have the money to spend.  But to disparage others (as OP is doing) because they don't have the money or chose not to spend the money to do so is ridiculous.  My commute is 12 minutes and my husband works at home so I refuse to spend a lot of money on cars.  I'm just not in my car enough to care.   [/quote]
