I graduated in 1986 from a big MoCo public school and there were parties every weekend. There was lots and lots and lots of drinking and kids hooking up. Alcohol was very easy to get and even though our class missed the grandfather clause for legally drinking, we were close enough to the age so fake ids were easy to come by. I used to go to Georgetown with a fake ID when I was 15-17 and never had a problem getting into bars. I was far from alone in doing this. The delusion is people who use today’s standards to judge a generation from 30 years ago. It wasn’t all blow out parties and fun. I lost some friends to drunk driving. MADD really stepped up and changed the laws. [/quote]
