However, the flaw in your logic is assuming that Beauvoir children aren’t bright and are admitted only on the basis of wealth. While there a few families with inherited wealth at Beauvoir, most have earned their own way and the parents are fairly bright people. It’s not altogether surprising that bright people would have bright children, since intelligence is about 50% inherited. As for the nurture part of the equation, most Beauvoir parents have the resources to nurture their children rather well. So why would it surprise anyone that Beauvoir kids would go on to excel at NCS/STA?[/quote] LOL [/quote]
