I'm the PP who has a DC currently in one of the old dorms. FWIW, everyone paints it out to be some harrowing experience. It really isn't. The no-AC problem becomes a non-issue after mid-September (even before then, it's not bad if you have fans). I think about half of VT freshman dorms don't have AC either. Anyways, she told me recently that she loves Old Dorms now and would live with them again over New Dorms in a heartbeat. [/quote]
