If kids start school by w/flexible uniforms in PK, they hardly think about the arrangement. We're on the left politically, contrarians, and a little bohemian in a tree hugging, Burkenstock-wearing way. We love DCPS school uniforms that aren't too strict because they make our lives easier, and more affordable than the alternative, and probably help poor kids. We're given hand-me-down uniforms by other parents in the school community, and hand them down ourselves, which rocks.[/quote]
