It's origins were not formal, and it's not a religious holiday so people aren't dressing up for church. Many upper crust families play football on Thanksgiving (hard to do in heels). Thanksgiving is in fact about humbly giving thanks. That GF's focus was on the dress code says everything you need to know about her. I would break up with her.[/quote]
