I don't understand why people think they can dress/groom any way they want and not be 'profiled'. I had two little kids and was house hunting on a rainy day - was dressed in sweats - and a realtor at a new home community looked me up and down and refused to take me through the model because I didn't look like I could afford it. Her loss - we wanted to buy two lots. I was most certainly profiled, and have been in the past many times, as has my husband. We are tech people and don't play the same 'games' DC metro people do. I mean what makes a Muslim wearing a hijab or a Sikh wearing a turban think they can walk around like that?  They bring profiling and prejudice on themselves.  What makes a woman think she can walk around displaying her cleavage?  She brings profiling and harassment on herself.  What makes a homosexual teen think he can walk around with feminine mannerisms?  He brings profiling and bullying upon himself.  And why do blacks and Latinos think they can walk around with anything other than business professional attire on and not be profiled?  They bring suspicions on themselves.[/quote]
