[/quote] PP who had GERD - it's actually a lot harder to add fat with GERD. I was put on a PPI while pregnant because I had debilitating pain from things like eating a croissant even on zantac. A low fat diet was needed to manage it even with the PPI OP - I know you said your baby doesn't have a tongue tie but it is possible to have one you can't see. Given anything you've mentioned about his weak suck, being able to finish bottles much faster, and nursing for an hour, I'm willing to bet he does have one. Look up tongue tie preferred providers and see one of them for an evaluation.[/quote]
