Me: Actually, that link says they were liberated after the owner died.

Me: Actually, that verse is like a background check for new female immigrants.

Me: And men were never asked for the same.

Feeling nostalgic for those 10 pages on "equality = inequality."

You forgot:

Muslim: Islam is growing faster in the US by conversion than by immigration.
Lots of us: prove it.
Muslim: here is a link to a Pew survey.
Lots of us: the Pew survey actually says the opposite, that the conversion numbers are about 1/4 of the immigration numbers.
Muslim: You Christian-evangelical-crusader-Islamophobe! I'm going to start a new thread to complain about Islamophobes!

Lots of us: men can divorce by telling his wife "Talak" three times while women have to go to court to ask for a divorce. Then the man only pays alimony for three months (long enough to ensure she's not carrying his child) and she loses her children if she remarries.
