Wayside parents are absurd They are the poors of Potomac . If the economy crashes which it will son. Those muscles wanna bees with mommy and daddy’s money will be living with their kids in hoveks. They have zero concept of reality or fiscal responsibility. They live above their means and have mostly raised cult of stupids. They pay OOS fir colleges like Alabama, south Carolina and Florida state lol Wooton is higher ranked than Churchill. Academics at wootton are no different than their current school Walkers should be prioritized over these dummies. Dufief should move to QO Crown should be anyone route 28 and between Great Seneca up to Kentlands/lakekands . Kentlands and Lakelands stays at QO Rio kids go to crown walking absolutely dumb to send them to wootton. Non of it matters the board will do whatever they want . God help us if this kills the current BOE and moms4liberty gets any foot hold on next time. Boundaries will be nothing compares to that crap of uneducated idiots I agree with this 100%! My kids are grown, but as a local realtor, this makes total sense. New buyers place a high value on walkability—it’s a major selling point. Busing kids past one school to attend another would definitely be a deterrent for many potential buyers. Prospective buyers love QO—it has a strong "hometown" and community feel. Super strong academics and their sports teams that are some of the best in the state. I’m not sure why families from Travilah, Stonemill, and Dufief wouldn’t want to be part of the QO cluster. I also know that many QO families who may be reassigned are extremely upset about the possibility of moving out.

This is a helpful perspective. Pretty much everyone on this board has a pscyhological tie to their current school and fears change. It's a visceral reaction to protest being moved, even if objectively there's no difference. (Fear of the unknown, I guess.). But knowing a) what objective outsiders are thinking and b) that the people whose school you're moving into are yelling just as much about having to leave. All of that is useful. I suppose MCPS could help matters by improving the physical plant of Wootton, but at this point, it would mean even more disruptions for those moving to that school-- holding school for 2 years. (Though I guess part of the reluctance to go there is knowing that this will be in store relatively soon on top of everything else.)
