Calm down. These are the first set of options. It’s meant to provide ideas, feedback, and awareness of things that may not have been considered

They are the poors of Potomac . If the economy crashes which it will son. Those muscles wanna bees with mommy and daddy’s money will be living with their kids in hoveks. They have zero concept of reality or fiscal responsibility. They live above their means and have mostly raised cult of stupids. They pay OOS fir colleges like Alabama, south Carolina and Florida state lol
Wooton is higher ranked than Churchill. Academics at wootton are no different than their current school
Walkers should be prioritized over these dummies.
Dufief should move to QO
Crown should be anyone route 28 and between Great Seneca up to Kentlands/lakekands .
Kentlands and Lakelands stays at QO
Rio kids go to crown walking absolutely dumb to send them to wootton.
Non of it matters the board will do whatever they want .
God help us if this kills the current BOE and moms4liberty gets any foot hold on next time. Boundaries will be nothing compares to that crap of uneducated idiots

I agree with this 100%! My kids are grown, but as a local realtor, this makes total sense. New buyers place a high value on walkability—it’s a major selling point. Busing kids past one school to attend another would definitely be a deterrent for many potential buyers. Prospective buyers love QO—it has a strong "hometown" and community feel. Super strong academics and their sports teams that are some of the best in the state. I’m not sure why families from Travilah, Stonemill, and Dufief wouldn’t want to be part of the QO cluster. I also know that many QO families who may be reassigned are extremely upset about the possibility of moving out.

Moving from Churchill to Wootton, Why so much complain for so little difference between schools?
This Wayside petition simply shows that's wrong right now. Boundary changes in Churchill and Whitman is absolutely neessary.
Entire Wayside should be transferred to Wootton as suggested in 4 options. That way so many families comapining about split articulation can't complain.
It's not like Wayside is getting transferred to 30-40% FARMS like some ES are facing in WJ cluster. In entire boudary changes in both high school, I feel putting entire Wayside in Wootton is the most logical steps without split articulations. Most other decisions have too much negative. MCPS has go this one right here.
+1000
We are the only two who see this.

At that point the Council and MCPS will have zero credibility with taxpayers and voters.
Crown is a horrible site for new high school. Just imagine high school kids skip school and hang out and Rio shopping area. It’s a mistake to begin with.
What about BCC and RM? They are both by big downtown shopping areas.
IDK about Crown but both BCC and RM are too large to have the lunch period the same for everyone. Thankfully, the kids can walk to neighboring businesses for lunch. I know of at least one restaurant that has/had an RM lunch special for the HS kids. My DC loved it.
RM has open lunch for all students at the same time - my child currently attends RM
