I actually switched channels after the first 20 min  because I was, surprisingly, embarrassed for him. I can't believe this is even a contest. I wouldn't blame Clinton one bit if she was smug or condescending about having to "debate" that complete joke of a candidate.

But maybe his grand strategy was to completely bomb the first debate so he could catch us all off-guard with his wit and intellect in the next one.  :| [/quote]

I know, I know. We just have to accept that there is a significant portion of the population that has no appreciation whatsoever for the intricacies of international diplomacy and state craft, or for that matter any understanding that it takes knowledge and practice in the field to excel (in any field, here politics).
