Where on earth are Randall and Mom/Miguel supposed to be living? It appears to be bucolic suburbia but Kevin and Randall just dash to and from Manhattan, by car, sometimes more than once a day. Where is this mythical location? (Also, does it bother anyone else that was is supposed to be Pittsburgh and NJ/NY/Conn are obviously California?) Also, seriously Randall doesn't call anyone else - only Kevin? Kevin can't call one of his family members to take care of Randall? Poor playwright/actor woman. But I agree with PPs, nevertheless, Kevin is somehow the best/most likeable character. I'm still watching this show for the twists/flashbacks but losing some patience . . .
I agree. East Coast never looked so good before. Kevin could have gone to help Randal after the play and should have sent someone else in the meanwhile. He did let down a lot of people by disappearing on them.
This. I hated the Kevin ending. His poor co-actor and crew and everybody else involved in that play. You just don't do that. His entire family was in the audience he could have delayed the start of the play 5 minute to call one of them to go help Randall and that still would show him putting family first, like saying 'hey mom, you need to go take care of Randall instead of watching my play, it's ok to not be here for me right now".
