Don't feel hopeless. Watch these older women in Kalamazoo, MI. CNN keeps trying to goad them into criticizing Biden and they are not taking the bait. https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/11/politics/video/joe-biden-press-conference-voter-reaction-tuchman-ac360-digvid Normal people know that the DC-NYC talking heads are feeding a narrative right now. Axelrod - the guy criticizing Biden from his vacation home with his dumb dog barking in the background - is pretending like he knows what actual voters are thinking. The guy lives in a gilded bubble. Same with the rest of the clowns who answer to their donors in HCOL blue districts. It's funny - the Democratic politicians on TV defending Biden are those who live in poor and working-class districts (House reps) or more blue-collar states (Senators).
Well I hope you’re right. Democrats who are nervous are being realistic about the electoral college loss in 2016 and the narrow win in 2020 (which should never have been that close).
Don’t hope, act. Find a campaign or organization to volunteer with. You can make calls from anywhere in the country. There is zero excuse for not doing SOMETHING. Democracy is citizens participation. Voting is just one aspect. I can drop links if you or anyone else needs.
