Ridiculous.  Just because we can't eliminate 100% of them doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't try.  We could easily get rid of 95% of the illegal guns and make the streets a hell of a lot safer.  Same way that seat belts and airbags and crumple zones made cars a hell of a lot safer.   Yes, collisions still happen but you're a lot more likely to survive it.[/quote]

There was language in Lankford's Bipartisan Border Bill to provide resources to improve detection of fentanyl and fentanyl precursors and to sanction those who are involved in or enabling fentanyl production and distribution internationally, but Trump picked up the phone to his MAGA members of Congress and killed the bill.

The House Republicans' bill had NOTHING.  Not even a single mention of the word "fentanyl."[/quote]
