On the flip side, the AC/DC’s fast support for Cristina was sufficiently eye-popping to get me involved in local politics again!  So maybe it increases engagement? It’s outrageous that the democrats are pushing a candidate for school board with almost zero ties to our community and virtually no personal experience in APS as a parent or educator.  I can finds flaws in all of the other candidates, but at least they have legitimate experience within the system that qualifies them as a voice of the community.  Also, the use of the caucus to edge out Symone is pretty  gross.  She’s a woman of color with kids in APS with learning differences.  How is it the dems aren’t falling all over themselves to make her part of our school board?  It’s because they’re looking at a national agenda not at local needs.  The AC/DC needs to stand down a bit or risk losing its hold.[/quote]
