I don’t know much about the Churchill situation, but the staff development position has nothing to do with child abuse prevention training. That is all pushed out directly by the county to teachers. We complete it online. In my experience, staff development teachers do very little actual training of any kind. At my school they run the monthly staff meeting and then act as an assistant administrator most of the time except when they’re running testing. Not an excuse, just an explanation. [/quote]
