And to the poster talking about the Israel-Palestine conflict, you're correct that a common Russian propaganda tactic to play both sides of social media.  Why?  People normally aren't violent if they're happy.  Russian propagandists will play both ends of the field in the hopes of getting others to pick up the theme.  It's what they do to stir up trouble so they gain in the long run.  How do Russians gain from inciting violence in the Middle East?  It's really quite simple.  The more trouble there is in the Middle East, the more oil prices go up, the more valuable Russian oil becomes, the less oil Russia needs to ship to make a killing on the market.  [/quote]
