If you wanna believe women can give birth without men, then believing they give birth to children of god ain't too much of a stretch.
Might not be for you, if in "your" world, men, women, gods, all the same, no difference! But hey since the beginning of time, animals have not given birth to humans, or humans to animals, see nature likes to keep it within species, but hey that's where Faith comes in. To each, their own~
Faith is cool. Believe what you like. Just don't try to sell it as fact.
I think religious statements are factual to those who believe in them. I don't believe in selling beliefs/religion, or anything else for that matter ( I don't like salespeople). Not all facts are scientific facts, the claim that I am typing this now, unseen by anyone, will occur in no scientific paper, but it is a hard fact
That's why I think religious people are funny. They believe in faith and miracles when it fits their story. And when it doesn't, then come out, facts and science! That a woman could give birth immaculately - no problem, god can do anything. That a woman could give birth to son of god - ooh, no, don't you know nature keeps reproduction within species! Suddenly, it's hello logic!
Nah, you got it all wrong. Religion/Belief has nothing to do with logic or science, it is faith-based and it is a CHOICE, there is nothing logical about it. We all choose to believe in what we want and so you totally lost the point of what I meant in that first post. I added the statement "That's where Faith comes in" to show that regardless of how illogical something is to me, it is totally believable to someone else who has "faith" in it. Just like my beliefs can look totally illogical to someone else, but I have "Faith" and total confidence in them. The only person I need to convince is Me, Myself and I. What the rest believes doesn't keep me up ! night~
