Professional black families? You mean the ones that are working their way up the past few generations of poor racial inequality from the previous generations that came from slavery. How dare they?  Why should they have any benefits?   :roll: Geez. Only whites from enherited riches of past generations should get benefits. Working professionals of color?  They are lucky they have a job, right PP.  Those poor white kids with meth parents deserve it more because they are white and poor.  I mean, do you reread what you type?

No, I am a while woman that is not a racist. I am a white woman who is going to do everything in my lifetime to make any minority try and feel welcomed and equal in my presence and call out people that don’t do the same.  I am a white woman who knows I have privilege in this world JUST because I was born white. Is it my fault I am white? No. Are minorities upset that I am white? No.  Is it my duty to understand that being white comes with privilege that others do not have yet, even in 2019? Yes. Are minorities upset that white people don’t understand their own privilege? Yes.  Are minorities upset that they feel left alone to battle for their rights and never understood by most whites who claim they are not racist? Yes.

It is not enough to just not be racist anymore.  It is 2019 people. We need to do more. Just like people of wealth are supposed to help the poor, but really don’t want to. “I enherited or earned that money!” So They usually pay more wealthy lawyers and accountants to rig it so they don’t pay much taxes.  Most white people dont want to fight for equality and justice, because they already have it and try to rationalize that black people have it now too. They don’t and it can’t just be them fighting for themselves. They need allies. People that are cognitively aware. Are white people nervous when their son is walking on a street or driving a car? Probably not. But every single black mother is. “Professional or not” Could you imagine that fear? I honestly can not. But I try. I try to understand. That is all most black people are asking. I mean like that is it. It isn’t much, but yet most white people can not do it. It is really sad once you “wake up.”

And for you entitled whites here screaming about “affirmative action is not fair” are just ignorant. So ignorant. I am not racist but.... NO, you ARE.  You are somehow turning it around that it is not fair for you.  YOU.  Instead of thinking this is the least we can do and even (gasp) How can I do more?

The #1 lie is that there is a white supremacy  :roll:  I clearly missed that memo somehow.

What we have seen here is that mostly (but not all) white parents are simply trying to buy their kiddos into better colleges than they otherwise would have gotten into and did so not because they thought they were special because they were white but because they were stupid parents with stupid kids. Unless you can convincingly show that these parents were cackling and boasting about riding roughshod over downtrodden African Americans, there was no "white supremacy" going on here. The spots their kids took didn't come from minority candidates because all the colleges have their fixed percentage goals for minorities/international students. The spots were taken away from unconnected middle class white kids.
