DP. That’s not what happened with the Harts. They weren’t good people that adopted and felt overwhelmed. They were abusers who sought out victims and ultimately killed them. The Harts pulled their kids from school once they were being investigated for abuse.  If your point was that the Stauffers were also terrible people then I agree. But a lot of people in stressful situations don’t do what either of these families did. I’m not giving someone props for declining to murder their kids.
