it also makes more sense that he switched jobs at irs (his mom was also former irs) and moved here rather than switching completely and going to fbi.

it's ok if we stop talking about his car. i think people bicker vehemently over irrelevant trivial facts because the facts of this are SO upsetting. and so much of their lives is so relatable and familiar, i mean shots of the mall w/visiting friends or frying pan park, it hits the heart of dcum life.

so many post here about affairs, unhappy marriages, loneliness, midlife crises. but to have things escalate to this, and with a child present in the home, planned, well, thank goodness THAT outcome is rare.

side note: cannot stop that song going through my head, the lead singer has a very odd voice. i think bb got her hooked on that particular song for a reason. they had lots of hits but not so many about shielding a partner in crime.

such a shame that any of this happened. it didn't need to but it would have cost him some degree of control and money. human life matters more. after the cases reach their conclusion, i hope that christine and joe's families can find solace in their memories. and i hope the little girl beats the odds and manages to succeed without too much trauma and dysfunction repeating. hope she goes to christine's family. the dog too.
