BSC isn't perfect but it is fair to ask why top players leave for other clubs. Sorry but I have never heard of a top player from club leave at u16 or later to join another ECNL club.
It is primarily the college prep and recruitment piece. It is missing at bsc. Clyde has great connections at McLean, as does Harry at MD United.. Bsc doesn't have anyone on the girls side with strong connections to college coaches. This is why the older teams will lose some players and continue to struggle. Once committed, the stronger D1 coaches also want to see their commits in a strong training environment which bsc does not have at the oldest teams. This could change, but the current state of affairs.
You have no idea what you are talking about. College recruitment is 90% (player contacting coaches, emails, videos, grades, etc) and 10% connections. If a player makes to an US ID Camp, the coach doesn't even matter. KL does need to make the connections but you easily forget that Clyde and Harry probably have at least 30 years on KL. Both Clyde and Harry had to start somewhere back when they were KL's age as well. You are the same McLean parent that posts negative stuff about BSC over and over and over again. Please worry about your own kid instead of your immature grudge. Stop listening to what others are feeding you. I've been through the process with my older one as well as watched her teammates and their approach. MR didn't exactly have all of the "connections" yet look at her 2019 class. Over 15 players took D1 Scholarships, Virginia, North Carolina, NC State, Princeton, Notre Dame, and others.
