For example, if someone has a health incident in your home they can sue you. Fastest way to get a nice payout because the homeowners insurance will pay. The courts urge and insist upon mediation first, so as not to clog up the justice system. When someone signs a NDA they are foregoing the right to pursue it legally. This was investigated and nothing criminal was found. That meant she could only get him through civil action. They mediated and she accepted a NDA which means she found him not guilty/liable for any harm done to her. [/quote]
