There is a lot of misinformation on this thread. For example, is nothing in the police report about it being part of her job to get him to his room.
I find a lot about the allegation to not be credible but the thing that sticks out the most is that witnesses say she was fine the next day. She says she thinks she may have been drugged. Anyone who has actually been roofied knows that you feel like a train rolled over you the next day.
That's not true. I was roofied and other than feeling a little tired I was fine the next day.
Anyone can claim they were roofied. There was no factual evidence that she was in this case.

This is absurd. If she wanted to have a convention fling or one-night stand, she is not taking her husband and kid on the trip with her. The woman's drink was spiked.
There was no evidence of her drink being spiked. That was a false claim she made days after when her husband accused her of cheating. Did you see the police report?
There is no physical evidence of her drink being spiked. There is no evidence it is a false claim. You all can keep pushing your narrative but either he will drop out or it will all be litigated in the Senate. There is nothing (including the NDA) stopping them from calling her as a witness.
He may just drop out, true. She waited for 4 days to get a rape kit. Probably because she had to make the story believable to her husband, and family. While I think he's probably not the best person, I believe she went to his hotel willingly. I mean it's on video...
But she also didn't really remember what happened till later and also a tiny bit of GHB is quite fast acting and metabolized quickly. Becoming the most common drug found in date rape accusations because of that (WHEN they can find it given it is metabolized so quickly).

Then why did he pay her off? An NDA? Who does that?
High profile people. It’s obv embarrassing to have this happen, even if you’re found to have done nothing wrong and aren’t charged. She probably figured she get some money out of him from the accusation alone
He's a rich guy with high powered attorneys - but he lost and had to pay out.
lol not what that means. She signed away her right to proceed legally, basically saying he didn't rape her. She doesn't get exposed through discovery. Like that video showing her hand in hand smiling going into his hotel room. Or going before a jury who would see that little tidbit.
There's no video showing them going "hand in hand smiling" to his hotel room. This is a false description of the video being spread by Hegseth's lawyer and Megan Kelley, among others.

She walked out of the bar to the pool area with Hegseth arm-in-arm, smiling. Then they had an argument at the pool - Hegseth claims no memory of it (even though he described himself as "buzzed," not intoxicated, page 23). The woman says she argued with him about his behavior with women at the conference. The woman apologized for their behavior to hotel staff and they left pool area together.

Men settle because they don’t want other cases to come to light.
