I know Paul (his murdered son) acted irresponsible both during and after the fatal boat crash, however he must have been a very troubled kid w/a Father who was a pill addict as well as a common hustler.
To live w/a Father who would murder you for his own gain speaks volumes.
Paul likely knew his Father loved his older brother Buster much more.

No one should die by the hand of their own parent and the fact that Paul did makes me feel more empathy than I probably should.

I think Buster should be penalized for providing Paul w/the phony I.D. which allowed his little brother into bars as well as purchase liquor illegally.
I find him kind of an idiot for supporting his Father when it is clearly obvious to everyone (but him!) that his Dad is a rotten scoundrel.
Even Alex’s brother Randy knows he is not innocent as he claims in court.

I thought for sure he was at least, mid-sixties!
