I was talking about a different server. Plus, I never argued that fake images had any benefit. As this experience shows (assuming that it is true), is that it is not easy to fake images. [/quote]

They turned over an image, deliberately faking it, obstructing justice and delaying examination. Also bought them time to destroy. Physical equipment should have been turned over. Seriousl punishment needed. [/quote]

What is true in this case (or at least alleged) is not true in every case. Forensics are always done on images. As this case shows, images are difficult to fake. Experienced investigators will figure it out. In the case of the DNC, no such allegations have been made. Given that you are likely a believer in the "DNC, Rich, Awan are all tied together" theory, why would the FBI ignore faked images from the DNC but not Awan?
