"The secret server was connected to the House Democratic Caucus, an organization chaired by then-Rep. Xavier Becerra. Police informed Becerra that the server was the subject of an investigation and requested a copy of it. Authorities considered the false image they received to be interference in a criminal investigation, the senior official said."
I have multiple secret servers. They hold nothing but data about Trump supporters.![]()

I seem to remember our moderator stating - arguing even - that these images of the server are all the Feds need!
I was talking about a different server. Plus, I never argued that fake images had any benefit. As this experience shows (assuming that it is true), is that it is not easy to fake images.
What it shows is images are not acceptable.
That's some faulty logic there partner. I hope you don't work with computers (though you may well be Equifax's security admin).
They turned over an image, deliberately faking it, obstructing justice and delaying examination. Also bought them time to destroy. Physical equipment should have been turned over. Seriousl punishment needed.
What is true in this case (or at least alleged) is not true in every case. Forensics are always done on images. As this case shows, images are difficult to fake. Experienced investigators will figure it out. In the case of the DNC, no such allegations have been made. Given that you are likely a believer in the "DNC, Rich, Awan are all tied together" theory, why would the FBI ignore faked images from the DNC but not Awan?

LOL! Comet Ping Pong all over again. So, Awan is responsible for the Iraq invasion?
That timeline had some strange things included. It was kind of interesting, though. I did find the part about the murder of the car dealer a little off the wall. However, if there is a connect to Awan then, maybe it belongs there.
However, listing DWS brother as influencing the case is a little far. I've posted this before. There is no "the assistant US Attorney" in the DC office. There are many, many. I looked it up once--I'm sure it is well over 100. I cannot imagine they would let him near this case. But, I guess stranger things have happened.
I found one blatant false statement the first time I read over the timeline. I would not depend on it for accuracy.
I am amazed that someone would produce a website like that and even more amazed that the poster -- though a known troll -- would post a link here. Just think of his sources of info if this is the stuff that is fed to him? It's stuff like this that gives credence to the fake news industry and paid trolls.
