I can understand why some people would like it, but it’s not for me. I also disliked Rome; got robbed and had many instances of people just being unbelievably rude. Amazing history and architecture though. I’ll cut them a bit of a break though; I’d imagine dealing with tourists constantly would wear you down. On the flip side, despite warnings to the contrary, I found people in Paris to be very pleasant.
