You are comparing a game with a sport. You may as well talk about chess wunderkinder while you are at it. But I generally agree that talent at this age is usually talent when older, and untalented at this age won’t become talented later. The difference is how we all look at talent. There are plenty of talented kids at this age who are behind the growth curve who will dominate if and when they grow fully into athletes. Of course they may not. But it is pretty obvious who those kids are, and pretty obvious which kids have an edge due to hitting the growth curve earlier. [/quote]
