Hey Cheh supporter. What could Cheh have done to earn respect? 1. Not allowed a project she spearheaded become mired in a two year delay resulting in the closure of a public park for two years. 2. See above. PS you are not doing Cheh any favors. You should sit down because all you do is piss people off by claiming it’s not her fault and she is not responsible. I don’t really care about Cheh. I support having a pool. But you are a really bad advocate if your goal is to win people over. You sound like Trump when you say it’s everyone else’s fault and anybody who opposes Cheh or disagrees with her should Move. You have a tin ear.
It's really weird that you think that because I'm pushing back against your ignorance that I'm a Cheh supporter or trying to do her favors. In a healthy democracy, it's important for people to make well-reasoned decisions that are grounded in reality. Right now, you're mad at Cheh for something she has no control over. You're mad that she didn't do stuff. You're argument, after all the back-and-forth we've had, is still "I dunno, she should've done something!" as if that would've magically made things better. This reason for being mad at Mary Cheh is not grounded in reality. You are, of course, free to hate her for irrational reasons - that's your prerogative. But you should not be surprised when people push back against your irrational views, and it's particularly odd that you think that people pointing out your sloppy "reasoning" are Cheh staffers or in league with her. Your stance is akin to not voting for Eleanor Holmes Norton because a pothole in front of your house hasn't been filled, or not voting for Karl Racine because the Circulator is going to cost $1 to ride again soon. It's completely nonsensical. Again, it's your prerogative to hold absurd nonsensical views. Hopefully others reading this thread will find this discussion useful as they make an informed decision at the ballot box. And your non sequitur about Trump is bizarre. Granted, I haven't read all 50 pages of pearl-clutching, but for at least the past 8 pages since I started posting, nobody has suggested you to move. Get a grip.
