While I have no ill-will towards this man, I would not mind if the county council had one less Trumpy anti-vaxxer.

Central Florida is such a random place. I live less than a mile away in an adjacent district that is represented by a Democratic black woman. The political balance in this area is so close to parity that just one or two points in either direction makes a difference.

We should probably start another thread - but how are you feeling about Val Demmings v Rubio? And are you liking Nikki Fried or Charlie Crist?

Val Demmings isn’t well known, even in Florida. She’s going to have to raise funds and get the party behind her. Rubio has the incumbency and is a bit of a chameleon: he seems to have transitioned from a Bush-style neocon to a Trumpy populist. Combine that with the rightward shift of the Cuban vote and it’s hard not to give Rubio the advantage.

I don’t know much about Nikki Fried, but I know that Charlie Crist has changed parties twice in the last decade and seems to bend whichever way the wind is blowing, so I’m not too optimistic about his chances. [/quote]
