U13 is a pilot group and had several play-ups, so not sure the results are representative of what things will look like next year.  The group that needs the most help is obvious--the current U16/17.   The rest are OK if the focus is on development and not results.[/quote]

Slightly disagree with last sentence, only in that, if there are more selective rosters across the age groups, then girls currently playing up should be dropped back to their age groups.  Agree that focus should be on development, not results.  Great if get both, but former is more important than latter.

Agree with that.  Most if not all should play with their age group in the standard groups.  The pilot is an experimental group and play-ups are OK there, especially if they want to integrate exceptional talent to keep as they move up to the standard age groups.  A good tactic for that, actually.[/quote]
