Most of my friends drive either Toyota Sienna or the Honda version.  I don't think the Honda version has AWD - a huge drawback for me, but we are also buying another minivan, because they really are useful, and we are far beyond what other people think of us.  Are you and your wife very young, OP (in this way of thinking)?

Of those friends, many (perhaps most or all, come to think of it), also own luxury SUVs.  Guess which car gets driven the most?  Yup,  The minivan.  It is more practical.  These were people who swore they would "never" get a minivan.  LOL.  [/quote]
