If the Israelis are so keen to share buses with others, perhaps they could also share land and natural resources as well and stop repressing the Palestinians. Until they do, it's very hard to get worked up about this.
+1
The Jew-hating Arabs were offered a two-state solution when Israel was formed in 1948, but they refused. They weren't interested in "sharing" because they did not - and still do not! - recognize Israel's right to exist. They have said repeatedly that they want every Jew wiped out of Israel. Israel needs land to protect itself from people sworn to its destruction.
You have to admit that the deck was loaded in favor of Israel in 1948. The western world's guilt -- particularly Britian and the US -- about what they had allowed to happen to the Jews of Europe was politically overwhelming. The British were still in full colonail power mode and described the Palestinians as powerless date and olive growers, i.e., ignorant farmers and the type of people England found easy to colonize for centuries. The Palestinians did not have a chance against Old Blighty. Now with the on going support of the US, Israel has crushed and oppressed Israel and continues to take Palestinian land at will. You, PP, saw a ittle narrow minded not to understand the hatred of the Palestinians for Israel. Think of how the Jews felt when Hitler nationalized all of their property.
The Jews were in Israel 3300 years ago, way before Islam was born. The Jews got kicked out, just like they've been persecuted and expelled (and gassed!) for their entire existence. Yet all the sympathy, all the time, goes to the Arabs.
