More than that obv to have any kind of increase. Look at the col calculators. Look at what housing, taxes, and commute cost. Look at how LONG commutes are in "affordable" tristate towns. I'm not saying there is not something appealing about living in that area but I'd only do it at an income closer to 7 figures. You will inevitably come into contact with lots of finance families and their annual bonuses will be more than your whole income. It will make you feel poor. [/quote]
