SO off topic, but you need to know- like many great songs, Dolly Parton actually wrote it and many years later let Whitney record it. Two totally different versions but in Dollys you can feel the emotion and understand the lyrics better. If you quickly got tired of Whitney's ponderous version, give Dollys a listen. You'll gain a new appreciation. Bonus points if you watch the movie from whence it came- best little Whorehouse in Texas, if only for the semi nude all men's locker room performance.

Sorry hon, I'll give Dolly her props but the ONLY reason we know that song is Whitney.  No one else's version will ever compare - her voice and her natural ability to adapt that voice to music is really unique, unparalleled.  [/quote]
