If you have a job and wont be HOME when a package is expected to arrive, then yes, ship it to your office. If someone is home during the day then send it to the house. Why is it on Amazon or Zappos to redesign "boxes" because you place an order? You get the shipping info and can track the shipment and can SEE when it's out for delivery... [/quote] NP here and as a Fed worker I can tell you that it would be frowned on if I had everything shipped to my office, especially because it all has to go through inspection first to make sure there nothing dangerous in the mail. Also a lot of the boxes I get are large or heavy and I wouldn't be able to carry them home esp. not on metro. [/quote] Great. We covered that 3 pages ago. Some people cannot receive personal mail at the office and some people ride the metro and packages can be too large to carry. Bottom line seems to be - do what is best for you but if you order packages online and fear they might be lifted from your porch make arrangements for them to be held or for someone to grab them for you or just be home when they arrive.
