Not the PP, but I fully agree and think OP should apologize. In her eagerness to find bigotry, she incorrectly accused people of being anti-gay.  That is a serious accusation, and wholly unfounded.  But rather than apologize, she'll just go on that she doesn't know why the boys chose a particular victory song.  How about getting to the actual point and acknowledging that you slandered people on no basis?
