See, this chart is assuming women care primarily about earning potential.  Given the fact that a man in his twenties has every potential to be earning the same as the early thirties guy at that age (in fact, more since men who are married tend to earn more than their single counterparts) why not snag him when he's young and good looking. You'll still get the benefit of that early 30s and so on income.

You exactly prove my point actually. Either you get these high earning potential young men when you both are in your twenties. When you reach your 30s the ones that are still not married have a way larger pool of women to choose from,  what they don't have in physical attractiveness, though frankly I don't see it I think they still look good in their 30s, they make up for in their highly increased income.

I dont think I did prove your point, and I think if you think I did, you might not be quite understanding what all was said.

Men are less physically attractive, by a large margin, in their thirties.  This is undisputed.

For most women in their twenties, physical attractiveness is the most important thing.  Which is why a really hot, young guy can walk into any bar and get laid that night- have his pick of the women.

Unfortunately for men in their thirties, their attractiveness levels take a BIG hit.  There was a board about that on here just the other night.

Some women will be able to tolerate that hit, so long as it is supplanted by income- or, depending on their desperation levels,regardless.

But many wil not, especially those at the top of the pyramid who can date a guy in his twenties who is also earning a good salary. [/quote]

Alright. You win. Younger men prefer older women. Mid twenties women prefer looks over everything else. Women in their 30s will have just as easy a time as men in their 30s dating. No one will date those ugly 30 something men.
