These are all things that have to be considered before you just go telling on people.[/quote] You don't know. It's OSSE's job to find out. So she reports it and lets them do their job. Calling every week is over the top though. They won't divulge personal information if the child is legitimately at the school, so once you report it, you have to assume if the child stays they are entitled to be there for one reason or another. Many wards of DC are fostered in MD but have rights to attend DC schools; but OSSE won't tell the tipster that the child is a Ward of the District (or whatever the reason for the placement). Doesn't make it wrong to call the tip line.[/quote]
