The issue isn't that charter schools every low income kid - it is just harder for low-income kids to overcome the barriers of attendance at many charters. So yes, some low-income kids will be in your kids school - but maybe only 50% as many, or, 30% as many, or 70% as many - either way, less than would get into the schools otherwise. And that is at least part of the special sauce. [/quote]
