Not everybody heads straight to Wall Street. At Wharton, at least when I was there, you could design a program around your desire to manage not-for-profits and/or you could take lots of classes in public policy. So, for example, I know two Wharton grads in DC who are working in policy/economics fields (and I know a Harvard MBA in the same field). True, these grads are a definite minority, but they are a part of every class. [/quote]
