[/quote] I think you are referring to Blair, not BCC.[/quote] Yes, Blair is the largest HS in the county, and, in fact, is just a few students shy of being the largest in the entire state. It is also very diverse. But it's a perfect example of a school that's large and diverse enough to have a sufficient peer group for every type of student, including bright, AP/Honors-taking, college-bound kids, like my daughter. And, no, she's not in either of the in-house magnets. She's been at Blair for 2 1/2 years now and has never had any interaction with "gangs," though I don't doubt that gangs exist. But like I said, big place.[/quote]
