2.5 weeks, postpartum with DH. A year when I was younger and single. I wasn't the type of a girl to sleep around. DH and I have sex nightly. I can appreciate a hard situation but its laughable when some women claim working and children make them too tired for sex. I work FT and have two children ( 2yo and 8m). DH and I have sex every day. If you are committed to your relationship and your partner, you will make time for sex.
I thought you had to wait at least 6 weeks after giving birth to resume intercourse?
NP here, we waited three weeks. I had a c section, don't know if that makes a difference. Our sex life goes in waves, but we never go a few days without having it. In dry spells it is 2 times a week. Now it is almost daily. My drive has increased and so now it is DH has to keep up with me. I can understand people who say they are too tired at the end of the day, I've definitely been there. But I can say that making an effort to have it more has benefits outside the bedroom for sure, my husband is more affectionate and attentive and seems in a much better mood. I seem less uptight too.
